A legacy of time keeping
Our journey began in 1957, as humble watchmaker based in Nashik, Maharashtra. Today, we are retailers and distributors of some of the leading watch and clock brands in the country. We are one of few companies in the world with in-house expertise of restoring and maintaining heritage outdoor clocks.

We open shop
Late. Mr. Manohar Khadke, started as a watchmaker in 1957. Soon, he was recognised for his craft and become go to watchmaker for the city of Nashik.
- 1965
Building expertise
Over a period, GWC built solid expertise in restoration of old, antique watches, clocks. Customers stated flowing in from across Maharashtra and beyond. Since then this expertise has been passed on from one generation to another
- 1975
Introduction of TAS
Mr. Vijay Khadke, took the baton ahead and was first to introduce 'Time Punch-in Machine', to the industries in Maharashtra to help them monitor the in-out timings & attendance records of their employees.
- 1995
First Tower Clock Restoration
Nashik Municipal corporation called for experts to restore a British Era tower clock, which was non-functional for over an decade. A lot of experts tried their hand but could not succeed. And finally Mr. Vijay Khadke took up the challenge and fixed the clock in a month’s time.
- 2002
Setting-up workshop for custom outdoor clocks
With a mission to restore and maintain old tower clocks across the country, Mr. Vijay travelled across Europe, to learn the finer aspects of horology. And with all his experience and learnings, GWC set up their own work shop to build custom outdoor clocks.
- 2005
Expansion of our Multi-brand showroom
GWC launched a 3 storied multi-brand outlet and started a new chapter in retailing and distribution. While continuing the craftsmanship of watch makers.
- 2017
Restoring and inception over 100 our door clocks across the country
Soon, inquires for tower clocks started pouring in from across the country from, government institutions, trusts, educational institutions, royal palaces etc. and since then, GWC has restored and build over 100 tower clocks.
- 2018
Restoration of the iconic Crawford market clock
One of the most iconic tower clocks in India, the Crawford market clock, built in 1880 was restored back its glory by GWC. This was one of most challenge and rewarding projects in our journey so far.

Today
With over 6 decades of legacy and expertise, the third generation is carrying forward the tradition of time keeping.
